The reconstruction of the house in Kerameikos was a challenge to redesign a typical apartment, while looking beyond the walls and other structural elements. Aiming to the functional upgrade of the apartment, the old loft and the bathroom were demolished, creating new interior frames. The door in the hallway was turned into an artwork allowing light to pass through the carved wood. Behind the door panel, the reconstruction of the bathroom with the aesthetics of the countryside creates an unexpected surprise. The wooden walls and the floor were made with technique and materials used in shipbuilding for water resistance.
